Aceria avanensis (Bagdasarian) (Acari: Eriophyidae) New Record For The Fauna of Turkish Eriophyidae and its Predators
This paper provides information about Eriophyidae (Acarina:Prostigmata) fauna of wallnut threes during 2004-2005 years in Ankara. As a result Aceria avanensis Bagdasarian, 1970, and Aceria erinea Nalepa, 1891 were found as harmful species on walnut threes. Aceria avanensis (Bagdasarian) (Acari: Eriophyidae) is added as a new record for the fauna of Turkish Eriophyidae. Euseius finlandicus Oudemans and Zetzellia mali Ewing (Acarina) are the predatory mite species which were determined inside the galls of eriophyid. Terminology are based on Amrine (1996), Lindquist (1996) and Keifer (1975). The confirmation of the identified species were done by Prof. Dr. Enrico de Lillo ( University of Bari, İtaly Di. B. C.
