In this study, development, mortality and fecundity of Scymnus subvillosus (Goeze) fed on two aphid species Hyalopterus pruni (Geoffr.) and Chaitophorus leucomelus (Koch.) were studied in the laboratory at 25±1°C, 60±10%RH and 16L:8D fotoperiod.
According to results, developmental time from egg to edult of S. Subvillosus and its mortality rate were found 17.14 days and 36.36% for individuals fed with H. pruni and 18.54 days and 48% for indivudals fed with C. leucomelas. The net reproduction rate (R0), the intrinsic rate of natural increase (rm) and mean generation time (T0) were 69.88,0.110 and 38.26 days for individuals fed with H. pruni and 22.64,0.076 and 41.04 days for individuals fed with C. leucomelas.
